An early morning face-off between DRG BSF team and Naxalites have reportedly resulted in the destruction of an entire militants camp in the Antagarh area of Kanker district, Chattisgarh, early onn Sunday.
According to the reports, some Naxal security guards who were camping in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh got information about the shooting. After that, the security personnel started a search operation in the entire forest.
The exchange of fire between the security forces and the Naxals continued for a long time. It has been reported that the entire Naxal camp was destroyed in this encounter. No casualty information has been received.
Meanwhile, the search operation is still going on in the forest. Combing has been intensified by local police and BSF forces. More details awaited.
