Besides CJI Bobde, the senior-most judge, Justice NV Ramana, and justices RF Nariman, UU Lalit, AM Khanwilkar, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and L Nageswara Rao would deal with the PILs and social justice matters.
