NHRC Issues Notice to Defence Ministry in Connection with Death of Man in Firing by Army Unit During Anti-Naxal Op

The NHRC said the case needs to be treated as “special” because the judicial inquiry magistrate had held that the 21 Para (Special Forces) personnel are “responsible for the death of an innocent citizen”.
