Two vehicles crashed in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur district, killing 12 people, including two children, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place near Agolai village in Balesar region on Monday night.
“The crash was so severe that the heads of two passengers were separated and some of them got badly stuck in the mangled vehicles,” an officer said.
Ten passengers died on the spot, while two died to injuries in a hospital including two children and six women. Six others are admitted to a hospital Balesar police station in charge Devendra Singh said.
The officers added that the people in one of the vehicles were on the way to attend a marriage function.
