Union Cabinet and PM Modi meet at his residence to discuss about Jammu and Kashmir

On Monday the Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister adhered here, regarding the speculation that the government may exert some decisions on Jammu and Kashmir.

Amit Shah Union Home Minister and Ravi Shankar Prasad Law Minister were primarily to arrive at the prime minister’s residence, which is the meeting place, officials said.

Jammu and Kashmir have been on the beach following the deployment of supplementary defence forces in the state last week.

Consideration has been widespread that the Centre has plans to do away with Article 35A, which provides preferential rights to the state’s residents in government jobs and land. The cabinet usually meets every Wednesday and the reason for gathering a meeting on Monday has not been revealed by the government yet.
