Turkey builds brotherly relationship with Pakistan

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that Turkey shares abrotherly outlook with Pakistan and further revealed that they could possiblycollaborate in the defense production sector.

President Erdogan’s statement on Pakistan Turkey relations indicates deteriorating relations between India and Turkey citing lack of involvement with Turkey from the Indian Government’s side. Turkish President also mentioned the current situation in according to him, Indian Occupied Kashmir following the scrapping of Article 370 of the IPC that removed Kashmir’s special status.

He stated that the international community must he aware of the distress that Kashmiri citizens are being subjected to. He further compared Kashmir’s situation to that of Palestine and mentioned that above 8 million Kashmiri Muslims are being forced to live like prisoners on their own land.

Former Indian Ambassador to Turkey, M.K. Bhadrakumar who served from 1998 to 2000 responded to Erdogan’s remarks at the UN general assembly hasdefinitely highlighted trade relations that India and Turkey share currently. Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi during his opening speech described the project as an evidence of the brotherly relations between Turkey and Pakistan.

He also stated that the torture by Indian authorities has touched the peak after 5 th of August 2019 and announced the Indian government’s decision as violation of resolutions of UN security council.

He expressed gratitude towards the President of Turkey for addressing the issue of Kashmir in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly held in New York and declared that the Pakistanis and Kashmiris are under an obligation for the firm support received from Turkey.

Even the Chief of Naval staff Pakistan, praised the devotion and allegiance of the team of Askeri Fabrika ve Tersabe letme, Military Factory and Shipyard Management and thanked Turkey’s Ministry for National Defense and the Navy of Turkey for their backing in this valuable project.

This observance has opened a new section of Friendship in the defense sector between Turkey and Pakistan which is also seen as a key breakthrough for introduction of state-of-the art Corvettes among the Navy of Pakistan.
