Swami Gyanvatsalya, a motivational guru walked out of an event held in Jaipur’s Birla Auditorium on July 30 without giving his speech when he spotted women seated in the front row of the audience, sources that he had told organizers to forbid from allowing women to sit in the first three rows at the auditorium for his program.
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the All Rajasthan In-Service Doctors Association (ARISDA) organized the event – Raj Medicon 2019. The female doctors were upset with Swami Gyanvatsalya’s behaviour and also protested against it. Some of the doctors also decided to boycott his speech.
It was decided to keep two front rows vacant, after a conversation made between the doctors and organizers. Even though Swami Gyanvatsalya found women sitting in the front row upon his arrival at the venue.
Meanwhile, at backstage Swami Gyanvatsalya asked organizers to announce that women should not sit in the first three rows. Dr Ritu Chaudhary speaking about the incident told that several women were seated in the first three rows as they were waiting for the speech.
The announcement, thereafter, those females should vacate the first seven rows came all of a sudden. Soon after, an announcement followed that women shouldn’t occupy the first three rows escalating major confusion.
This is the “protocol” of Swami Gyanvatsalya, which is what his ‘condition’ was explained away as to the female doctors. Although some of the doctors agreed to follow the “protocol,” Swami Gyanvatsalya then left the venue without delivering his speech, Dr Ritu Chaudhary added.
Dr.Ajay Chaudhary, a senior ARISDA official, also told that Swami Gyanvatsalya walked out of the event as women were seated in the front rows.Share this to your,
