Stephen Moore has $75,000 outstanding federal taxes

President Trump intends to nominate for a seat on the Federal Reserve, Stephen Moore, the conservative economist has $75,000 outstanding federal taxes, interest and penalties, as per the court documents recorded last year.

The $75,328.80 from the 2014 financial year was registered against Mr Moore at the behest of the federal government in January 2018 in Montgomery County. Mr Moore pointed inquiries regarding the tax claim to his wife, Anne Carey and said Mr Moore had unwittingly deducted both alimony and child support amounts to his ex-wife.

US President Trump’s 2017 tax deduction excreted alimony for divorces proceeding ahead. Moore has made his career in Washington in a huge section on his tax expertise especially, his steadfast support of tax deductions, including Mr Trump’s signature tax law.
