Sonia Gandhi meets DK Shivakumar in Tihar jail

Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday came to Tihar correctional facility to meet DK Shivakumar, her gathering’s lead troubleshooter in Karnataka captured by the Enforcement Directorate regarding a tax evasion case 50 days prior. Gandhi was joined by gathering general secretary responsible for Karnataka KC Venugopal.

Gandhi was at Tihar a month ago likewise to visit previous clergyman P Chidambaram who was captured by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the INX Media case. Shivakumar had assumed a key job to protect the Congress’ Gujarat officials in front of a pivotal Rajya Sabha political race in 2017, sequestering them at his hotel in the edges of Karnataka capital Bengaluru. It is around this time the personal assessment specialists attacked properties connected to Shivakumar.
