Russia comments over the Kashmir issue

Russia has declared superimposed both India and Pakistan to protect the condition in Kashmir from spiralling out of charge and bring out the changes in the area in the constitutional parameters of India.

On Friday, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “We hope that the parties involved will not allow a new aggravation of the situation in the region as a result of the decisions.”

Moscow has indicated that it attempts normalisation of relations between India and Pakistan and mutual talk.

“We hope that the differences between them will be resolved by political and diplomatic means on a bilateral basis following the provisions of the Simla Agreement of 1972 and the Lahore Declaration of 1999,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

This is the initial commentary from Moscow on the Kashmir matter which has drawn numerous international comments since India ended the special status of the region and aimed it in a new Union Territory.
