Puppets of JeM Chief and PUBG in Mumbai to be Burnt Today on the Occasion of Holika Dahan

Puppets of Masood Azhar chief of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and the famous mobile game PUBG in Mumbai’s Worli will be burned today on the season of Holika Dahan. The PUBG model describes an army man ready to carry out a surgical strike. Meanwhile, Masood Azhar’s puppet highlights a rifle hung in his arm including ‘Dahshadvad [terrorism]’ written below. In Mumbai, two siblings from Sion Koliwada region have constructed a puppet of PUBG on mobile to spread awareness of the game’s negative influence on children minds.

Amar and Ashish Vitthal, they also plan to burn the puppet today on Holika Dahan, stated, “It [PUBG] must be banned. Parents say that we children play PUBG all day. They appreciate us for the concept.”Amar added that “People are becoming violent by playing PUBG, children are not focussing on studies. So we came up with this concept. Earlier, we had created awareness about noise pollution, demonetisation etc. We will burn this effigy during Holika Dahan. We want to spread a social message.
