PM Narendra Modi will be appearing in a never-seen-before appearance on August 12 while he experiments into the jungle adventure of Uttarakhand along with Bear Grylls, the anchor of the popular television show ‘Man vs Wild’ on Discovery Channel.
The Discovery Channel has announced a statement stating that the special episode emphasizing survivalist and explorer Bear Grylls and shot in India’s Jim Corbett National Park, will be a “frank and freewheeling journey”.
In a still shared by Grylls on his Twitter about the show, PM Modi is seen riding a small dinghy in a river along with the venture travel show host.
In one more scene, PM Modi is seen welcoming Grylls to India and carrying a weapon formed out of bamboo and other material gathered from the forest and saying, “Main aapkeliyeisko mere paasrakhunga (I will keep this with me for you).”
To which, Grylls responds with a laugh saying, “You are the most important man in India, my job is to keep you alive.”
The show has been executed as a means to raise the consciousness of animal conservation and environmental development.
The Prime Minister in a statement said “For years, I have lived among nature, in the mountains and the forests. These years have a lasting impact on my life. So when I was asked about a special program focussing on life beyond politics and that too in nature I was both intrigued and inclined to take part in it,”
He added that for him, this show presents a great opportunity to showcase to the world India’s rich environmental heritage and stress on the importance of environment conservation and living in harmony with nature. And also it was a great experience spending time in the jungle once again, this time with Bear, who is blessed with indefatigable energy and quest to experience nature at its purest.Share this to your,
