Non-performing staffs to be given retirements as per bureaucrats and their service reports

Bureaucrats and their service reports are going to be imposed by the Central government to decide on retiring the non-performers or recognising those backing sincerity.

The government will inquire about a record of non-performing officers each month from every department and consider further action.

Centre will also evaluate the performance of all officers who have reached 50 or have achieved 30 years of service to choose whether they are entitled to proceed in service or forcibly retired.

Centre’s Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) had in 2017 launched an Online Probity Management System, to evaluate the sincerity and performance of officers.

As per the reports, the replacement of the removed officials will be done by a lateral entry system. DoPT has shown that around 7 lakh jobs are currently unfilled and in the lateral entry system, this figure will be 7,000.
