Supertech shifts all blame of wrongdoing on Noida Authority, as it washes its hands off the illegality involved in twin towers construction
In a statement, Supertech claims that the building plans of the project were approved by the Noida Authority and was in strict accordance with the prevailing building bylaws as announced by the state government.
They state that no deviation was made from the building plan and that the building itself was constructed after making full payment to the Authority.
The statement says that the Supreme Court had not found the construction satisfactory on technical grounds and had issued orders for demolition.
Edifice Engineering will be conduction the demolition of the Twin Towers, Apex and Ceyane.
Supertech states that they are committed to give delivery to remaining homebuyers as per the scheduled time frame. They also claim that they have completed and given delivery of more than 70000 Units to homebuyers.
Supertech ended the statement by assuring all home buyers that the order of the Supreme Court will not affect any other ongoing project and all other projects will continue and that they are committed to complete construction and will deliver the flats to the allottees as per the schedule time.

Noida traffic police department has issued guidelines regarding the movement of vehicles for Sunday when Supertech Twin Towers, the tallest structure in India, and an illegal construction in the cityscape is headed to come crashing down around 2:30 pm by a “waterfall implosion technique”.

The evacuation of residents of the Emerald Court and the ATS Village societies was scheduled to be completed by 7 am but took a little longer, police officials said.
Cooking gas and power supply lines have also been discontinued in the two societies in Sector 93A in view of the implosion planned at 2.30 pm on Sunday, an official overseeing the evacuation exercise told PTI.
The buildings closest to the twin towers are Aster 2 and Aster 3 of the Emerald Court society which are just nine metres away. The demolition would be done in a manner so as not to cause any structural damage to other buildings, they said.
While the nearby Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be closed from 2.15 pm to 2.45 pm, the city will remain a no fly zone for drones. The air space in one nautical mile radius above the blast zone will also remain briefly unavailable for flights during demolition time, according to the Noida Authority.

A puja was performed by the demolition crew at the blast site just a while ago. The puja was performed by Edifice Engineering, attended by all the crew of Jet Demolitions as well. The puja was dedicated to Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesh. Apples, bananas and motichoor laddu offered to deities. The puja was done for safe conduct of the blast and demolition.

Around 500 police and traffic personnel besides the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) have been deployed as the area around Supertech’s twin towers here was put out of bounds for civilians ahead of Sunday’s planned demolition of the structures.
Road diversions were put in place early in the morning, as evacuation of all residents from the two adjoining housing societies of Emerlad Court and ATS Village in Sector 93A was completed around 8 am, police officials said.
DCP Rajesh S, who is also the police’s incident commander for overseeing the evacuation exercise, said, “Around 400 civil police personnel were on demolition duty Sunday.”
DCP (Traffic) Ganesh Saha said separately 150 to 200 traffic personnel were also deployed across Noida at all crucial junctions to facilitate movement of vehicles in view of restrictions and diversions on several routes.
