Lok Sabha elections 2019: Jammu and Kashmir

Polling began on a slow note in Baramulla district where 5.80% votes were polled in the first three hours, Bandipora 5.97% and Kupwara recorded the highest 7.98% in the Baramulla Lok Sabha seat. State Election Commission said, “10.24% polling of migrants was recorded.”

Peoples Conference chief Sajad Lone, who addresses from Handwara in the Baramulla parliamentary constituency, invited to the voters to come out for voting. He said, “This election will herald change. From changelessness to change.” According to the officials, “14.12% voting in Jammu, 16.52% in Samba, 11.88% in Rajouri and 12.98% in Poonch were recorded till 9 a.m.”
