Jammu and Kashmir stopped to be a state and became two association regions – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh – on 12 PM Wednesday, 86 days after the Parliament repudiated the extraordinary status delighted in by it under Article 370.

It said any reference in any current law to the “governing body of the state or any House or Houses” will be understood as references to the administrative get together or lawmaking body of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
No claim will be kept up for any move made, including any notice gave or request, rule or arrangement made during the period between August 5 and October 31 as these will be regarded to be substantial and usable as though such things had been done or moves made as per law, as indicated by the warning.
It said any individual who has made a vow or made an assertion before holding office or position in that capacity under the Jammu and Kashmir Constitution or different laws in power in the current territory of J-K preceding the selected day will be esteemed to have made vow or certification under the Indian Constitution or law appropriate to the two association domains, and will keep on holding office or position all things considered till October 31.
