Every minute spent on playing video games has rewarded a 16-year-old.
Kyle Giersdorf, of Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, won $3 million as the first Fortnite World Cup solo champion. The competition held on Sunday at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
That reward is higher than Tiger Woods gained for winning the 2019 Masters Tournament.
Gilsdorf, after winning said, “words can’t explain it”. In the gamer world, he goes by the name “Bugha”
Around 40 million players battled for an opportunity to compete in the finals. The tournament awarded $30 million in cash prizes.
The second place was shared by, 24-year-old Harrison Chang, of the United States, who won $1.8 million.
The twosome contest was won by 17-year-old David Wang, of Austria, and 16-year-old Emil Pedersen, of Norway. They’ll split the $3 million prize.Share this to your,
