Documents Concerning to Rafale Fighter Jet Deal will not Proceed Without the Permission of the Centre

General K. K Venugopal on Thursday in the centre petitioned right over documents concerning to Rafale fighter jet deal. The centre informed the Supreme Court that no one can produce them in the court without the permission of the department concerned.

Venugopal, appearing for the Centre, referred to section 123 of the Evidence Act and provisions of RTI Act to bolster his claim. The trial is currently advancing before a bench directed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justices S K Kaul and K M Joseph.
