BJP leader asks EC to ban green flags

Giriraj Singh, BJP leader on Tuesday said that the Election Commission must ban the usage of green flags. It usually linked with political and religious bodies associated with Muslims, claiming that they spread hatred. But they build a perception of been used in Pakistan. Mr Singh said, “fight from this parliamentary constituency is on a gang operating for tearing up India”. Then they said that he serves the agenda of cultural nationalism and development.

BJP leader barred in a triangular contest with RJD’s Tanveer Hasan and young CPI leader Kanhaiya Kumar. He had won the elections from Bihar’s Nawada Lok Sabha constituency in 2014. Then he is contesting from Begusarai this time. He had openly revealed his distress over the shift but it satisfied by the central leadership. It with party president Amit Shah reached out to him. The polling is on April 29.
