BJP asks Veteran Murli Manohar Joshi from Lok Sabha Elections

Bharatiya Janata Party has urged leader Murli Manohar Joshi not contest in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Dr Murli Manohar Joshi has announced a concise summary for voters in Kanpur, from where the 85-year-old leader had won in 2014. The announcement said BJP general secretary Ram Lal, a Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) nominee, had sent Joshi the party leadership’s choice that he should not be contesting the elections.BJP said the party has taken a principled decision that veterans should make the way for younger leaders.
