Bachchan’s residence sealed after four of them testing positive for COVID

Legendary actor of the Indian film industry, Amitabh Bachchan’s, 77, had confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday via his Twitter account. Following this, his son and actor, Abhishek Bachchan’s also confirmed to be testing positive for the same. Both of them are immediately taken to the hospital. Shortly after that, former Miss World, actor, and wife of Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and daughter were also tested positive for coronavirus. Following the family members testing positive, their house in Juhu was sanitized by the BMC, civic body of Mumbai.

According to the current scenario, all the four bungalows owned by the Bachcan’s have been declared as the containment zone and have been sealed. They owned Jalsa, Pratiksha, Janak, and Vatsa, all in different parts of the city.

On twitter, through his personal account, Amitabh wrote, “I have tested COVID-19 positive… shifted to a hospital… hospital informing authorities .. family and staff have undergone tests, results awaited…All that has been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!’’

A while after that, his son also took to twitter to announce both of them getting admitted to the hospital. “Earlier today, both my father and I tested positive for COVID-19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to the hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.” Abhishek and his father are hospitalized while Aishwarya with her doctor is home quarantined. Even while Sr. Bachchan is in isolation, he is keeping up with his daily routine. Officials have also appreciated his calmness and cooperation during the whole process.
