Nine earthquakes hit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Monday morning in two hours, magnitude ranging from 4.7 to 5.2 according to the National Centre for Seismology. The first shock with a magnitude of 4.9 at 5.14 am and another after some minutes later jolt with the magnitude of 5 occurred. The last one was at 6.54 am of 5.2 magnitudes. The Andaman and the Nicobar’s extensive group of islands has subjected to earthquakes. The islands usually witness more than three earthquakes a day.
