Amazon Pay launched P2P for Android users

Amazon Pay started person-to-person (P2P) payments for Android users on Monday. We can now get instant bank-to-bank transfers utilizing the UPI on the Amazon app. The bills, rent, and various daily subscriptions can be paid by this innovation. “With this launch, we have the largest selection of shopping and payment use cases on the Amazon Android app which provides added convenience and control to our customers,” said Vikas Bansal, Director-Amazon Pay. Consumers can transfer or receive P2P payments by choosing a contact from their contacts book or through UPI ID or bank account of the receiver.

“Amazon auto-detects if the contact is a registered Amazon Pay UPI customer and enables the instant bank to bank transfer. If the contact is not registered for Amazon Pay UPI. Therefore, the customer option to pay using any another BHIM UPI ID or contact bank account the company. The customers can receive up to Rs 120 cashback on sending money through UPI as a launch offer. Our goal is to make Amazon Pay the most trusted.
