A huge fire broke out in a 22- storey Dhaka office building on Thursday, 19 died and injuring at least 73 others in the Bangladesh capital. Rescue workers stated that the death toll could rise as firefighters recovered charred bodies from the complex. At least six people died after jumping from the 22-floor building, officials said.
Dhaka police chief Asaduzzaman Mia told, “at least 73 people were injured and being treated in hospitals across Dhaka.” Some people with the help of a television cable slid down, and some grabbed the ropes of emergency service helicopters to save their lives. Shoikot Rahman survivor said, “When I heard a fire broke out in the building, I quickly rushed out. Many of my colleagues are still trapped in the office.”Share this to your,
