It’s a battle between the two sides that are relatively comfortably-placed on the IPL 2022 points table, with the second-placed LSG taking on RR, who sit one place below them with 14 points to their name.

Both teams are coming off defeats in their last outings, though for  Lucknow, the loss to Gujarat Titans brought an end to a four-game winning streak. Rajasthan, on the other hand, have hit a roadblock of sorts as they’ve lost three of their last four matches, and will hope to get their campaign back on track in the business end of the season.
