The draws will start with Pot 1, followed by Pot 2, Pot 3, and Pot 4.
The teams drawn will by default be placed in the top available group in alphabetical order.
The Pot 1 consists of the defending champions Madrid, the Europa Cup winner Frankfurt, and the winners of other national club tournaments.
