78 women were rescued from the dancing bars in Bangalore

The Central Crime Branch officials arrested three people for running dance bars in the Bengaluru. The arrested were working the bars illegally. 78 women rescued from the bars. The officials arrested more than 100 customers. The incident took place at the Bridge Night 6 Bar on the Brigade Road and Another raid conducted on the Night Queen in Kalasipalya. After the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Kandivli Unit raided the bar the incident came to the notice.

The police officials discovered that the women working at the bar were dancing in a provocative manner. According to the Maharashtra Prohibition of Obscene Dance in Hotels, Restaurant and Bar Rooms and Protection of Dignity of Women Act, 2016, offensive or vulgar dances are not allowed in dance bars. The police unit caught 15 people and four women who employed at the bar. They involved and then taken to the MIDC police station. A case filed against the accused.
