In South-eastern Zimbabwe 24 people died houses and bridge-whist were mopped away by a tropical storm, Information Ministry stated on Saturday. Cyclone Idai carried flood stream and damage to regions of Mozambique and Malawi and cutting off the power supply.
The minister tweeted, “Number of deaths is confirmed at 24 mainly from Chimanimani east. The number of missing people is currently 40 (and) the fatalities include 2 students.”Air force helicopters continued saving people, but flights were being delayed by massive winds. Zimbabwe has suffered from drought this year. This has caused damage to crops.Share this to your,
